After getting word on my Twitter feed that WordPress 2.5 was released earlier today, I quickly updated this site. I’m not sure if you will see any real changes, but Nadia will be surprised when she sees how different (and better) the administrative area is.

Look Amazon, I’m a slave to your site. I’ll buy pretty much anything from you. I even pay for Prime, and have my PCs set up to buy stuff from your site with a click. I want to buy videos from your Unbox service, but you make it so damn annoying to do so.

I know that you believe that the fault lies with Vista, but are you really telling me that there is no way to get Unbox loaded in the system tray without causing the UAC prompt to appear between two to seven times? There is no way that I am going to believe that. How does my McAfee anti-virus application load up without causing the UAC prompt to appear once? I’m sure that an anti-virus program works on a much lower level than a video download and license manager.

Until you fix this, I have no choice but to uninstall this app. It is really a shame because I otherwise like the Unbox service. Being able to download videos to my desktop from my laptop is a pretty neat feature, and downloading Battlestar Galactica without waiting for Netflix to send me the disc was also very nice.
