Nadia was recently chosen to receive her commission. After being an enlisted soldier for the better part of nine years, she will become a 2nd Lieutenant! Above is my expertly crafted image, showing the transition from her three Sergeant stripes to her single shiny gold bar.
The morning after she receives her bar, which is later this week, she’s gonna hit the road for a long drive to San Antonio. She’ll be leaving me along here with the cats for five months. During that time, I will be packing up our stuff.
We are moving! Maryland has been our home for the past eight years, and soon we will come to call Colorado home. We will embark on our 1,661 mile drive sometime in mid-May.

I’m happy to hear this and sad to hear it also. I’m totally lost when it comes to what the heck just happened.
I was in the dark for a minute because of how busy you guys are with work and such, the site was down for a minute, now that its up, I get to hear that you guys are basically disappearing in the abyss of Colorado. This bites. I’m gonna miss you guys. i can’t just pop in no more, unless I drive 2000 miles away. Damn this really bites.
But congrats on the promo, Nads. You totally, in no time, reach the top of the ranking system. Just make sure you drop a line if any thing does go down. When it comes to NY, we’re basically clueless. But you guys are most definitly my thoughts and I wish nothing but the best for you all.
