I remember way back when in high school when Street Fighter II was pretty much my entire life. When I wasn’t in class, I was playing this game; whether it was in the arcade after school or in Nadia’s living room or in my bedroom, I was constantly working on my tried-and-true flying-fierce-fierce-fireball technique with Ken. I’d even show off by doing multiple dragon punches of varying strengths to keep my opponent away from me. I could beat this game in my sleep. Now that Street Fighter II Hyper Fighting has found its way to the Xbox Live Arcade, I have been able to play this classic again on my favorite next-gen system (never mind the fact that I have a version of this game for almost every platform available).
If I was so good at it, then why the hell did I just struggle through the game? I would think that some of that skill was still in me, but it took me 32 matches to complete the game. 32, on the lowest difficulty! For what, 12 opponents? That’s just sad. I’ll keep working on my game and try to get that down to a respectable number, like 12.

Whats up buddy,
You think the street fighter series played a role ion your life, I had it bad too. I remember sweeping the mini-mall on beach 20th for $5.00 in quarters just to play that game. I got good, real good. And when I was able to afford a system, my skills blossom. I’m gonna have to take you up on a challenge one day. So Practice!
Don’t you have a 360 also? Get on LIVE so we can play. We’ll get the third in our trio in on a game too (he’s always playing 360 games).
