Will’s Regime, Day 21

Yesterday marked the 21st and final day of my rule. My stint as sovereign failed miserably. Not a single one of my proclamations from Day 1 came to pass. While I am sad that I did not do as good a job as I expected, I’m ecstatic to have my wife back home. The elusive Citizen Luna came out of hiding upon Nad’s return, a sign of who really calls the shots around here.

  • Will’s Regime, Day 17

Finally, I have found a powerful aide to enforce the law of the land! Unicron, destroy the enemies of the state!

    She doesn't see me
Unicron silently creeps up on Patches.

    Still closer
*Snicker snicker* she still doesn’t see me.

    Yummers
Yummers, she tastes just like chicken and broccoli!

    Now Sara
    I’m still hungry… need more food…

  • Will’s Regime, Day 14

My will to continue ruling is fading. I have all but caved in to the demands of my citizens. Too good for water in the dish? Fine, I’ll turn on the faucet for you when you need it. Won’t eat food that has been sitting in the dish for longer than two hours? Fine, I’ll pour fresh food into the dish for you. Tired of only eating one type of food? Fine, I’ll now open a can of soft food in addition to pouring fresh dry food every two hours.

I’ve made a few changes to the site. I have arranged all the sections of the site as menu options above with the new header graphic. To the right, you will find all of the links to our favorite sites on the interweb.

I should point out two links in particular. The Our Game Collection link now points to my Comcast webspace. It shows several pictures of our combined game collection. It also contains a link to my IGN account, which lists all 530 games in our collection.

The second link is Kevin’s Reviews (RT). Due to Amazon’s bullshit review policy, Kevin had over 300 reviews wiped from their databases. He has now begun re-writing his reviews on Rotten Tomatoes’ website. What I like about RT’s site over Amazon’s is that now I can directly link to one of his reviews, like this. It even has some blog functionality, like the permalink that I just demonstrated and the ability to leave comments.

Going back to the changes that I made, I’ve found that IE shows two bugs with the site: the first is the search box. The search button is supposed to be to the right of the search box, not underneath. The second are are section links above. They work, but the box doesn’t light up. Both of these function normally in Firefox, the browser that I exclusively use. I have to try it out in Mozilla, the browser that Nadia exclusively uses. I also tested it in Netscape, and it looks fine. I have no doubt that the Mozilla-based browsers will function in a similar fashion.

I’ll fix the bugs so that IE shows the site the way it was meant to be viewed.
