It took the passing of the latest “Bestest Day Ever” to get me to post something on this site.

I’ve been pretty damn busy, working in front of a PC all day. The last thing I want to do when I get home is jump in front of another PC.

Alright, enough of the excuses. What did we do on the 26th Annual Bestest Day Ever? We played a hell of a lot of video games. Super Smash Brothers Melee, Shadow Ops, NFL Street, WarioWare, Mario Party 5, and Bomberman all saw some screen time. Of course, Halo held our attention the longest.

Prior to this past Saturday, we couldn’t muster more than 14 people together for Halo. This time, we had to rotate players in and out of each match, leaving us with 16 in every single match! Slayer, Team Slayer, King of the Hill, and Capture The Flag were the modes played during the night.

Everything went very well. We had a lot of food and drinks, many of them graciously donated by our guests. I did receive many gift certificates as well as Super Mario Bros. 3 for the GBA, a game I have been waiting a long time for.

I hope to post more often in the near future. I still have to talk about our new friends Andre, Kendra and Susan from the Grand Am Meet way back when, as well as what we did at Pat’s wedding. Not to mention our trip to Florida to visit my folks. I’m way behind and need to get caught up.
