It has been a couple of weeks since I last updated the site. A couple of things have kept me away from the site. The main thing is that I got a minor promotion at work. I’ve moved up to the lowest level of management my company offers. A part of me expected it to be pretty small change in my daily routine, but I could not have been more wrong. My hours are much longer, and the level of responsibility has increased dramatically. My daily calendar and task list fills up quickly, so it is a good thing I bought my Motorola MPx200, which does a wonderful job of keeping my life in order. Now, if AT&T Wireless’ service wasn’t so bad, the phone would be near perfect.

The second thing is that my friend, known by many names but I will always know him as Lara-sis, asked me to build a web site for his bike club. I began work on it, and it is getting a few hits. It is still a work in progress, but if you are interested, take a look.

Anyhow, I’ve been hung up on the idea of building a new PC. Nothing terribly fancy, but something that is better than what I am using now. I detail the whole plan in the Teletran 3 page (Edit: Link no longer active).
