Happy Birthday DPK!

Today is my Sorority’s 9th birthday. Delta Phi kappa has been through a lot of changes over the last 9 years and despite those changes, we are still going strong. Every year we get a new group of Strong Proud Women who live by the motto “To Learn, To Teach, To Grow”. I had the pleasure of meeting some of our newest Sisters at Alumni Day last year. No one knows what the next year will bring, but with our 10th year coming up, I am sure we will have the biggest party ever seen!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DELTA PHI KAPPA!!!!

A year ago today, Nadia and I got married. The year flew by so fast. The wedding ceremony and reception are still fresh in our minds.

As a gift, Nadia picked up a reissue of my favorite Transformer of all time, Megatron. Not one of the lame tank, cannon, dinosaur, or flying head versions - the Walter P38 version. It is such a sweet figure. He will never leave his box.

I was not prepared to get her a gift (shame on me), so I took her on a shopping spree at her favorite crafting store, Joann Etc.

We swung by EB Games to pick up the Xbox game Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix and a pair of dance pads. The better part of the day was spent dancing like fools.

All in all, we really enjoyed our day together. We tried our best to avoid the outside world, just so we could enjoy each other’s company. I believe that we both appreciate how long we have been together and how happy we still are as a couple.

We also cracked open the box that contained the top of our year-old wedding cake. Check it out. (Edit: The link is no longer valid.)

I HATE ADWARE

I really don’t understand why some people feel the need to quietly install adware programs on your PC. Do they really think that bombarding me with pop-up ads will really make me click on the link and buy the product? I spent quite some time trying to remove Hotbar from my notebook. I thought Lavasoft Ad-Aware was enough to get rid of it, but a quick Google search turned up a simple set of instructions to completely eliminate the program. Thanks alot!
